He was predeceased by: his parents, Murry Howell and Christene Harris Howell; his brother James Mark Howell; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Howell and Judy Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Gray Howell of Santa Fe; his daughters, Teena Palmer (Kevin) of Franklin, Elizabeth Wood (Matt) of Thompson's Station, Katie Howell of Columbia and Brittany McMillan (Chris) of Columbia; his brothers, Richard Howell of Columbia and David Howell (Karen) of Lima, Ohio; his grandchildren, Ayden Howell, Avery Howell, Logan Wood, Tucker Wood, Graham Wood, Aubrey McMillan and Grayson McMillan; and his mother-in-law Charlotte Gray of Santa Fe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McCains Cumberland Presbyterian Church (3532 McCains Ln, Columbia, TN 38401).
