The memory of Shirley Kay Cooper of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Haywood and Mae Reeves Haywood; and her siblings, Linda Tomlin, William "Sonnie" Haywood, Harold Haywood, Bobby Joe Haywood, Johnny Haywood and Clarence "Toodlem" Haywood.
She is survived by: her son Korey Cooper (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Katlyn Cooper and Seth Cooper of Columbia; her brother Mike Haywood; and her sister-in-law Sandra Haywood. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St Luke United Methosit Church (606 Santa Fe Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Luke United Methodist Church (606 Santa Fe Pike, Columbia, TN 38401).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Shirley Cooper to the Columbia Police Department's Shop with a Cop program at Venmo (@CPDshopwithacop24) or Cash App ($ShopwithacopCPD) or to St. Luke United Methodist Church at 606 Sante Fe Pike, Columbia, TN 38401.
