It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammie Embry (Columbia, Tennessee), born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Arnett Embry and Ruth Ann Moody. He is survived by: his wife Joan Embry; his children, Teresa Baggett (Alan), Nick Embry (Christine), Meredith Evans and Nathaniel Embry (Melissa); and his brother David Embry (Sheryl). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
