He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Russell and Opal L. Higgins Russell; his granddaughter Haley Russell; and his siblings, Willard Russell, Donald Russell, Faye Underwood, Joyce Davis and Sandra Stafford.
He is survived by: his wife Vonda Cassell; his children, Royce Russell, Jr. (JoAnna) of Columbia, TN, Angela Molnar (Steve) of San Antonio, TX and Deborah Pace (John) of Brentwood, TN; and his sister Dorothy Musgrove. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
