He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolmb Everett and Frances Coleman Rucker. He is survived by: his wife Merijoy Lentz Rucker of Columbia; his mother-in-law Mary B. Nichols; his brother Jack N. Rucker of Fayetteville, GA; and his nieces and nephews, Janice Renee Perryman of Atlanta, GA, Shannon Stevenson Smith of Miami, Jack Neil Rucker of Atlanta, GA and John Brookes Stevenson of Daytona Beach.
