He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Slaughter and Maggie Vaughn Slaughter; and his sons, Mark Anthony Slaughter and Autry Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Cummins Slaughter of Columbia, Tennessee; his sons, Jeffrey Slaughter (Lorrie) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Kevin Slaughter of Columbia, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Slaughter, Mark Anthony Slaughter, Chase Steven Slaughter, Amber Marie Slaughter and Ashley Corrine Slaughter; and his sister Mary O'Quinn. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
