He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Myrion and Ila Griffin Brittain; and his sons, Clark Peters and Daniel Brittain. He is survived by: his wife Winnie Brittain; his sons, James Brittain, Robert Brittain II and Anthony Brittain; and his stepdaughter Darlene West-Jernigan. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
