She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Yelverton and Virginia Isbrul; her husband Frank Harper; her daughter Shelene Yelverton; and her siblings, Jeanette Yelverton, Valarie Yelverton, Jessie Yelverton, Robert Yelverton, Kenneth Yelverton and Charles Yelverton.
She is survived by: her children, Ashli Johnson of Columbia, Veroncia Battle of Spring Hill, Sherrel Yelverton of New York, Anthony Armstead of New York, Lamesha Yelverton of New York, Nicole Early of Missouri and Yolanda Harper of Louisiana; and her sister Mamie Choyce (Loretta Yelverton) of Michigan. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
