She was predeceased by: her parents, Chuck Woodford Johnson and Annie Ruth "Jaggers" Smith; and her sister Janie Johnson Skelton. She is survived by: her husband Walter Fariss Grimes, Sr.; her children, Angela Floyd (Bobby) of Columbia, Tennessee and Walter Fariss Grimes, Jr. (Nora) of Culleoka, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Kayla Newson (Carl), Anissa Rose Grimes and Ziva Claire Grimes; her great grandchildren, Harper Grace Newson and Bryce Carter Newson; her nieces, Tracy Ferrell and Kelly Weise; and her brother-in-law Hal Skelton.
The family requests that donations be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter in lieu of flowers.
