It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jane Hughes of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Brooks and Addie Garner Brooks Alexander; her husband Houston Hughes; her son Terry Hughes; and her siblings, Juanita Boshers and Ray Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Webb (Steve) of Columbia and Carla Hughes of Columbia; her grandchildren, Justin Webb (Kelsey), Jesse Hughes, Jenni Atkins and Lacey Webb; her great grandchildren, Kieley Webb, Houston Hughes, Addie Atkins, Aubree Atkins and Ellie Dyer; and also Larry Webb.
After she retired, she went on to volunteer at Maury Regional until the Covid Pandemic made it difficult.
