She was predeceased by: her father Robert Reynolds Cathey, Sr. of Columbia. She is survived by: her husband John K. Mauney, Jr.; her sons, Robert Andrew Mauney of Columbia and John Alexander Mauney of Reston; her mother Laura Barnes Cathey of Columbia; and her siblings, Barbara Cathey Winchester (Keith Winchester) of Columbia, Dr. Christie Cathey Long (Wiley Long, III) of Hermosa Beach and Robert Reynolds Cathey, Jr. (Amy Stevenson Cathey) of Knoxville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
