She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Slaughter (Rebecca Slaughter) and Iris Ragsdale Kelley (Anthony Southall); her brothers, Arthur Slaughter, Jr. and Larry Jo Kelley; and her nephew Brandon Slaughter.

She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Jones of Columbia, TN, Jessica Jones of Columbia, TN and Emily Lumpkins of Santa Fe, TN; her sister Stacy Kelley; her grandchildren, Alayna Thompson, Jamie "Jay" Thompson, Jr., Addison Grimes, Brayden Lumpkins, Carson Lumpkins, Lilyaunah Lumpkins, Josiah Armstrong, Isla Ramirez and Ivy Ramirez; and her great grandchildren, Katie Hubbert and Silas Hubbert.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Santa Fe Baptist Church (2652 Santa Fe Pike, Santa Fe, TN 38482). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
