She was predeceased by: her parents, Judge Terrell Claude Chadick (T. C.) and Doris Adeline Scruggs Chadick; her aunt Rachel; and her uncle Quentin Scruggs. She is survived by: her husband William H. Dale, Jr. of Columbia; her daughter Caroline Dale Simpson (Christopher) of Bethesda, Maryland; her sister Susan Chadick (Jerry Miller) of Arlington, Virginia; and her grandsons, Tyler Dale Simpson of Bethesda, Maryland and James Dale Simpson of Bethesda, Maryland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
