She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Edwards and Cummi Sesler Edwards; her husband Harold Sparkman; her daughter Kathy Sparkman; and her siblings, Catherine Foster, Pauline Tinsley, Marvin Edwards and Bob Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Sparkman of Alabama, Dwayne Sparkman (Lynette) of Columbia, Randy Sparkman (Jeanette) of Columbia, Eddie Sparkman (Christine) of Columbia, Ronnie Sparkman of Columbia, Susan Potts (Jeff) of Columbia and Donna Pionk (Michael) of Hermitage; and her brother Harry Edwards (Sarah) of Columbia. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
