It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Dean Gilliam of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas McDonald and Louise Brooks McDonald; and her siblings, Shirley Brooks McDonald Golden and William Thomas "Tommy" McDonald III. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Diane "Cindy" Hubbs (Bart) of Franklin; her brother Robert C. D. "Bobby" McDonald (Patti) of Cumming, Georgia; and her nephews, William Thomas McDonald IV of Dickson, Gary Lee Golden of Franklin, Forrest Hunter McDonald of Ocala and Robert Scott Collins McDonald of Alphretta, Georgia. She is also survived by one great niece and five great nephews.

The family requests that all attendees at the visitation follow CDC guidelines on social distancing and facial coverings are required.
