It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlin Hooten of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin York Hooten and Stella Goins Hooten; his wife Teresa Sanders Hooten; and his siblings, Rezel, Harold, Mike Hooten, Yvonne Brady and Jean Wilkes.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Boehms (Sammy) of Columbia, TN, Keith Hooten (Carla) of Pontotoc, MS, Kevin Hooten (Reneé) of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Pam Davis (Sheldon) of Lewisburg, TN and Kelley Kantonen (Malcolm) of Seattle, WA; and his brother Jim Hooten (Valarie) of Culleoka, TN. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
