It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria De Los Angeles Brown of Columbia, Tennessee, born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel and Refugio of Colorado; her husband Jerry Brown; and her siblings, Carmen Hernandez, Connie Ayala, Jorge of Colorado, Benjamin of Colorado, Hector of Colorado and Louie of Colorado.
She is survived by: her siblings, Teresa Nunez, Estella Contreras, Beatriz of Colorado, Margie Seawell (Larry), Miguel (Olga) of Colorado, Richard (Charlene) of Colorado, Ernesto (Kris) of Colorado and Albert (Rebecca) of Colorado. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions to the Cure VCP organization who have been instrumental in bringing awareness of the VCP gene-mutation that has inflicted many of our family members.
