She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benefield and Vida Benefield; her husband J. D. Vaughn Sr.; her son Paul Vaughn; and her grandson Jason Breeden.
She is survived by: her children, Mikki Breeden (Paul), Danny Vaughn (Angie) and Jerry Vaughn (Beverly); and her grandchildren, Melanie Breeden Hargrove, Jeremy Vaughn, Daniel Vaughn, Kayla Vaughn, Brandon Vaughn, Leslie Morton (Tim), Amanda Lukasik (Mark), Kattie Pritchett (James), Josh Potts and Reece Eauton (Christy). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
