He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Dixon Ames and Edith Oleva Shepard Ames; and his siblings, Evelyn Hotchkiss, Allan Ames and Maurice Ames.
He is survived by: his nephew Dan H. Ames; and also, Diane B. Ames, Maurice Emerson Ames and Allan Garfield Ames. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, other relatives, and his many friends.
