He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burgess and Dorothy Burgess; and his brother James Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Maggie Burgess; his children, Christopher Lee Burgess (Hayley) and Tiffany Lee Duncan (Jeff); his sisters, Laurie Osborn (Michael), Susie Shaver (Michael), Pattie Sturgill and Michelle Lauer (Ken); and his grandchildren, Chase Duncan, Abigail Burgess, Max Duncan and Zacharias Burgess. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Red Cross.
