He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel King and Elora Blalock King. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dotty" Kelly King of Columbia; his children, Timothy Wayne King (Emily) of Columbia and Kimberly Lee "Kim" Staggs (Steven) of Columbia; his brother Danny King (Lynn) of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Peyton Staggs, Braden Staggs, Madie King and Carson King. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
