He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Lee Carpenter; and his sister Vickie Susan Cox. He is survived by: his mother Marian Collier Carpenter; his sister Marsha York (Jim) of Cane Ridge, TN; his nephews, Tyler Cox (Sondra) and Mike York; his niece Annie York; his great-niece Mallorie Ann Cox; and his great-nephew Mason Fisher Cox.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
