He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Jackson Steward and Eunice Westmoreland Steward; and his siblings, R. W. Steward, Dean Steward, Ronnie Steward, Bob Steward and Mary Goodman.
He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughter Paula Marshall (Anthony) of Mt. Pleasant; his siblings, Charles Steward of Primm Springs, Everett Steward (Clara) of Santa Fe, Barbara Chessor of Columbia, Ann Babcock of Franklin, Melvie Potts (Roy) of Santa Fe and Kathy Steward of Santa Fe; and his grandchildren, Addison Marshall and Stratton Marshall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
