Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved June Montgomery Layne of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 88, on August 19, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Montgomery and Eula Marlin Montgomery; her husband Chester Eugene "Satch" Layne; and her brothers, Bruce Montgomery, Jr. and Bill Montgomery.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Layne Blocker (Todd) and Michael Eugene Layne (Kathy); her grandchildren, Stacey Jackson (Brandon), Christopher Layne (Mallorie), Lindsey Johnson (Michael), Kelsey Slatton (Heath) and Katie Blocker; and her great grandchildren, Will Jackson, Cooper Jackson, Ema Claire Layne, Abby Johnson, Rhett Johnson and Lawson Layne.
The family asks that anyone attending follow the social distancing and CDC guidelines and facial coverings are required.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
