It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Ray Vaught of Columbia, Tennessee, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorris Vaught and Dorothy Vaught (Pruitt); and his brother Jerry Vaught. He is survived by: his wife Amy Vaught (Burgett); his children, Christopher A. Vaught and Jeana E. Kalesia (Steve); his grandchildren, Gabriel Vaught, Brynn Vaught, Sebastian Vaught, Savannah Vaught, Gavin Kalesia and Emma Kalesia; his stepsons, Richie Slagle (Anna) and Alex Slagle; his stepgrandsons, Johnny Slagle and James Slagle; his siblings, John L. Vaught (Dorothy) and Jeanelle Luckett (John); and his sister-in-law Joann Vaught. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
