He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Scoggin and Nancye Keach Scoggin; and his brothers, Robert Denton "Bob" Scoggin of Clarksville and Thomas Gilbert "Tom" Scoggin of Springfield. He is survived by: his wife Jill "Jillie" Lane Scoggin of Columbia; his children, Cassie Nicole Pyle (Micah) of Spring Hill and John Denton Jubal Scoggin (Callie) of Waynesboro; his siblings, Carolyn Keach "Carol" Shearon (Bill) of Paris and James Houston "Jamie" Scoggin (Dani) of San Diego; and his granddaughters, Audrey Brooks Pyle and Lena Grace Scoggin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
