He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sanders, Sr. and Martha Scott Dodson. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Sanders of Columbia; his stepfather Jimmy Dodson of Columbia; his siblings, James Sanders, Jr. of Columbia, Sheila Duke of Columbia and Pamela Welch of Columbia; his grandchildren, Karly Thompson and Khloe Sanders; and his nieces, Whitney Duke, Ashley Duke and Kaitlyn McCandless. He is also survived by his friends and was a good father and grandfather.
