He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Johnson Newton; his daughter Anita Jo Newton; his grandchildren, Jessica Paige Auville and Nicholas Keith "Cole" Auville (Sarah Beth); his great grandchild Eleanor Louise Auville; and his niece Geraldine Bass Francis.
