He is survived by: his wife Priscilla "Tina" Fox Grooms; his children, Mike Grooms (Lori) of Columbia, Kelley Grooms Hubbell of Columbia, Julie Hutcherson (David) of Columbia, Ritchie Grooms (Windy) of Columbia and Buddy Grooms (Beth Hutcherson) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Ashley Stewart (Shawn), JT Caskey (Lyndsey), Cody Hutcherson, Dusty Grooms (Raqi), Justice Grooms, Ryan Hutcherson, Danny Grooms, Dylan Grooms, Maggie Sullivan, Shelby Flewallen and Nathan Flewallen; and his siblings, Bobby Grooms, David Grooms (Casey), Ronald Grooms, Floye Malugin (Roger), Joye Davidson (Danny) and Leon Grooms (Rita). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
