He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Williams Aslinger; his parents, Hiram Aslinger and Lottie Morgan Aslinger; his son Joel Aslinger; his sister Barbara Holloway; and his brothers-in-law, Carroll Holloway and Ritchie Woody.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Woody, Clifford Aslinger (Wanda) and Danny Aslinger (Joyce). He is also survived by five children, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
