She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Jefferson Mathis and Ruby Ester Hall Mathis; her husband William Leon Whitlatch; and her brother Johnnie Mathis. She is survived by: her son William Leon Whitlatch, Jr. (Stephanie) of Prosper, Texas; her sisters, Ruby Mathis of Columbia and Dorcas Faulkner (Lewis) of Round Rock, Texas; and her grandchildren, William Leon Whitlatch, III of Bristol, Alexia Dawn Bolton of Mt. Pleasant and Brendan Miles Whitlatch of Aubrey, Texas. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
