He is survived by: his parents, David Powell and Judy Powell; his wife Erica "Nikki" Hutcherson Powell; his son Landon Powell; and his brother Luke Powell (Shannon). He is also survived by his parents; and several nieces.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, please make donations to a substance abuse charity of your choice.
