It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Thomas Scroggins of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos Mitchell Scroggins and Georgia Lena Scroggins; his wife Joyce Fay Givens "Tootsie" Scroggins; and his siblings, Troy Scroggins, Enos Scroggins, Maudie Mae Morton, Albert Scroggins, Doris Ann Martin, Mary Ruth Newcomber and Laura Mae Scroggins.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Mitchell (Tammy) of Columbia, Bubba Mitchell (Sandra) of Columbia, Sam Scroggins (Jeanne) of Columbia and Burrhead Scroggins (Teresa) of Columbia; his sisters, Betty Lou Pruitt and Becky Hight; and his grandchildren, William Mitchell, Randy Mitchell (Hannah), JT Mitchell, Shane Mitchell, Casey Scroggins, McKenzie Mitchell (Kenneth Martin), Megan Miller (Brad), Morgan Mitchell (Quin Bullock), Casey Mitchell (Mike Simpson), Sasha Dollar (Derek), Paige Gillian (Matt) and Haley Scroggins. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
