He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Cothran, Sr. and Gladys Pearl Roberts Cothran; and his siblings, Willie Cothran Jr., Lewis Cothran Sr., Robert Cothran, Neal Cothran, Johnny Walker Cothran, Mildred Kelley, Joyce Ann Craig, Mary Cothran, Martha "Mott" Cothran Sharp and Betty Dyer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Rhodes of New Johnsonville, TN, Velda Filson of Columbia, TN and Helen Bell of Florence, Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Polk Memorial Gardens (6465 Trotwood Ave, Columbia, TN 38401).
