It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Thomason (Columbia, Tennessee), who passed away on April 5, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Smith and Myrtle Haygood Smith; her husband Claude C. Thomason, Jr; her children, Rickey Bailey and Debbie Gibson; her granddaughter Jessica McKennon; and her siblings, Leonard E. Smith, Jr. and Flora Mae Holloway.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Stewart (Jim) of Columbia, Lynn King (Danny) of Columbia, Garry Thomason (Cate) of Eagleville and Terry Thomason (Carol) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Amy Emerson, Stephanie Marino, Michael Bailey, Angie Haley, Regina Bailey, Justin McKennon, Matthew Gibson, Amanda Thomason, Emily Thomason, Brett Holt, Colin Holt and Cassie Thomason; and her close friends, Mary Alice Malone, Margaret Hendrix and Rudell Hickman. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
