We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James Wayne Malugin of Columbia, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles; his sister Christine Burgett; and his nephew Eddie Riggins. He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann "Dottie" Carroll; his children, Dawn Marie Allen (Steve) of Corbin, KY, Sarah Beth Malugin of Columbia, TN and Zachary Keith Townsend (Marsha) of Chapel Hill, TN; and his grandchildren, Kyler Allen (Grace), Jake Townsend, Mallory Allen, Bailey Allen, Berkley Allen and Copper Malugin. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Way church building fund in Chapel Hill, TN.
