It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Walker Woody (Columbia, Tennessee), who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clarence Woody and Virgie McKee Woody; his wife Alice Margarette Fitzgerald Woody; his siblings, Minnie Elizabeth Woody and Carlton Woody; and his great grandchild Joseph Levi Reichman.
He is survived by: his children, Kent Woody (Anita) of Columbia and Carolyn Woody Lacher (Richard) of Waynesboro; his sister Christine Sewell (Marion) of Santa Fe; and his close friend Gaye Peach. He is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren.
