He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Sanders and Vera M. Farwell Sanders; and his siblings, Rosalie and John. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Coil Sanders; his sons, Thomas Sanders (Arlyne) of Columbia, Joseph Sanders (Cathy) of Illinois and Benjamin Sanders of Columbia; his grandchildren, Lauren Evans (Tylor), Grace Sanders, Katelyn Sanders and Tristan Groves; and his siblings, Mary Sue Owens of Bloomington Illinois, Rita Williams (George) of Forks and David Sanders (Diane) of Bloomington, Illinois..
