James Marshall Cheek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Marshall Cheek of Columbia, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Larry Cheek. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ann Howell Cheek of Columbia; his stepmother Kaye Lovell Cheek of Columbia; his siblings, Susan Cheek of Thompson's Station, Rhonda Baker (Bryan) of Columbia, Bill Cheek of Columbia, Mike Cheek (Suzi) of Thompson's Station and Chevy White (Susan) of Columbia; his aunts and uncles, Hubert Cheek, Myron Cheek, Don Cheek, Elizabeth Cummings, Debbie Saxman (Bill) and Doris Howell; his nieces and nephews, Kristin Haislip (Jason), Cole Cheek (Marissa), Paige Janowicz (Nick), Natalie Cheek, Austin Reed, Madison Reed, Megan Allen, Brilee White and Addison White; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Henry, Charlotte Janowicz, Nylie and Jasiah Haislip; and also, Todd Halford, Pam, Joe Steward, Ken Loveless, David Sproul, Murray Devore, Missy Bolenbaugh and Eve Hardison.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
