He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Haywood and Vera Henson Haywood; his sister Mary Haywood; his daughter-in-law Diane Haywood; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn King and Buford King.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce King; his children, Gary Haywood of Columbia and Kim Holt (Ritchie) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandsons, Brandon Potts and Justin Haywood; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ragsdale, Frances Vaughn, Faye Martin and Doug King; and his pets, Tom and Tigger.
The family requests that anyone who is attending the visitation or funeral service please wear a mask.
