He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGinnis Deweese and Mary Miller Deweese; his wife Rachel Deweese; and his siblings, Robert Deweese, Ann Plante, Charles Deweese, Mary Joyce Kopeck and Bonnie Gail Deweese.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Deweese of Nashville, Jamie Deweese of Columbia and Bryan Deweese (Christy) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Destiny Deweese and Dylan Deweese; his great grandchild Paislee Meade; and his sisters, Helen Holland of Ashland City and Bess Bond of Allen, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
