He was predeceased by: his father John; his son James Keith Green; and his siblings, Tommy, Kenny Green, Elsie Steinbach, Fay Cantrell and Christine Adcock.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Basham Green; his daughter Rebecca; his siblings, Johnny Green (Judy) of Walling, TN, Eddie Green (Carol) of Smithville, TN, Jack Green of Smithville, TN, Sara Adcock of Murfreesboro, TN and Joyce Carman of Louisville, KY; and his grandchildren, Brad Mischke (Tiffany), Nathan Stephens (Rayna), Adam Mischke (Angela) and Amanda Green. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, a great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro or to Operation Stand Down.
