It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carlton Davenport of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Roberts and Betty Delaney Roberts. He is survived by: his siblings, Olon, Toy, Clifton, Harold and Alene (Penny); his wife Martha; his children, Carolyn Cothron (Tony), Nancy Harvell, Jim Davenport (Lori) and Joey Davenport (Rhonda); and his grandchildren, Shannon Dearman (Chase), Natalie Perkins (Reggie), Taylor Harvell, Wes Davenport, Whitney Cochran (Brad), Will Davenport (Kyoko), Mackenzie Baisden (Jared), Keaton Davenport and Baylea Davenport. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
