She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Manson and Henrietta Sylvia Turner; and her great grandchild Caron Frierson. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Daniel, Iva Cardona (Carlos) of New Orleans, Lisa Ricks of New Orleans, Howard "Smiley" Frierson, Jr. (Lisa) of Columbia, Allen Frierson of Slidell, Deon Ricks of Columbia, TN and Leon Ricks of Columbia, TN; and her siblings, McKinley Goins, Andrew Goins, Iva Goins Green and Rachelle Goins-Cryer. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
