It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iona Pye (Columbia, Tennessee), who passed away on April 24, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Covey Birdsong and Mary Maude Baxter Birdsong; her siblings, Cecil D. Birdsong, Mike Covey Birdsong, Jr. and Pearlie Mai Mitchell; and her nephew Ray Watson.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Pye; her sister Amanda Pegram; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Birdsong, Vikki Ford (David), Regina Mitchell, Jerry Dwayne Mitchell, Cedric Hawkins and Chinita Birdsong.
