He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Goad and Stella Haywood Goad; and his sister Nadine Goad Harris. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Satterfield Goad of Columbia; his children, Valerie Goad Stone of Columbia and Timothy Goad (Tammy) of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Tiffany Huey, Miranda Brewington (Matthew), Nina Goad and Toby Goad; and his nephew Burton Sherrill Harris of Forrest City.
