He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Grover Nix and Jesse Lee Tate Nix; and his wife Wanda Faye Crowe Nix. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Nix Hinson (Dale) of Hohenwald and Shannon Nix Masterson (Lee) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Colby Masterson (Angela), Parker Hardaway (Justin), Julianna Masterson, Corbin Davis (Jacob) and Chandler Hinson (Raelynne); his great grandchild Birdie Rae Davis; his sisters, Sandra Nix Crane (Robert) and Joan Nix Key; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Crowe Massey (John) of Columbia and Starling Crowe Swann (Doug) of Murfreesboro; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Massey (Angie), Corey Massey (Marisa), Eric Swann (Molly) and Bailey Rose (Will).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
