George Allen Clanton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Allen Clanton of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ross Clanton and Ruby Sarah Lou Clanton; and his brother Bobby Wayne Clanton. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Clanton of Columbia Tennessee; his sister Elaine Roman (Paul) of Ohio; his sister-in-law Kathy Wright of Georgia; and his children, Sheree Prince (James), George Anthony Clanton (Donna), Beverly Johnson (Derek), David Clanton (Libby), Phillip Clanton (Pam) and Shawn Clanton (Cassie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc.
