He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend James Cullom Elliott and Essie Welch Elliott; and his siblings, Nancy McFarland (John), James Elliott (Donna), Robert Elliott and William Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Lurline Meador Elliott; his daughters, Lori Elliott Buchanan of Clarksville, TN and Linda Elliott of Denton, TX; his grandson Jonathan Elliott Buchanan (Heather); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Elliott and Peggy Elliott. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service celebrating Mr. Elliott's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church.
