He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Frances Sanders Ferguson and William Houston Ferguson; his siblings, Jack, Billy and Evelyn; his daughter Barbara; his stepson Nicholas; and his grandson Jacob.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jackson Ferguson; his sister Patsy Duke; and his children, Jeffery "Scotty" Ferguson (Lisa), James "Bubba" Ferguson (Carrie), Darren (Melanie), Karren, Jamie (Pablo) and Joel. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
